For that, I picked the most competitive niches in the industry. "Personal Finance"
I am a big fan of the philosophy "Content Is King". It will always be. I truly believe Google will always make this their philosophy until judgement day.
That is the sole reason why I love Personal Finance niche. People often said that it is the worst niche to start blogging. It has already saturated to the max.
But, I find it as attractive niche since I can blog everything about what I have learned in the past 15 years in pursuing financial freedom online.
This blog will use no back linking strategy and you can see how it grows over time. I promise you it will be an interesting journey to share with my fellow readers.
The cool thing about finance blog is you can write something, and go do something else and resume as you please. I don't have to keep reading blogs to get idea on the topics.
I already learned a lot in this past years. I can talk about this topic all day long. It is time for me to share the things I learned instead of reading everyday.

You can read the best investment advice in the world.
You can watch the best videos on compound interest in stocks and real estate investments.
But if you don't take action, you won't go anywhere. The key here is to take at least do something on your online assets each day. Only then you can watch videos or reading on something.
This is to make sure that your time is producing something in return.
When you learn something, just apply it to something that is giving you something in return.
If you spend 3 hours a day watching youtube videos on how to make money with blogs, but at the end of the day, the 10 minutes blog posts that you write a day will matter the most.
EVERGREEN BLOGGING SEO TRICKS THAT MOST PEOPLE GET IT WRONG
You must be tired of hearing that when you write something on your blog, promotion is key to get visitors. Or you must have heard the saying:
"Go write a thousand blog posts and if you didn't promote your content, you blog is dead!"
That is just wrong!
What you need to do is just produce awesome, well-researched piece of content and put it on the web. Let it sit there and move to your next blog.
There are two factors why producing awesome content on the web is way more important than building links even in white hat way.
FIRST
You can do way more than spending an hour than just promoting, blog commenting or guest posts.
SECOND
The more you try to trick Google on making your content looks great by back linking, the more likely that Google will find your tricks and penalize your site.
You should not risk your business for that. Aim for the long term game in this business.
IMAGINE 2 SCENARIOS
1 hour content writing, 5 hours back linking, promoting, blog commenting and guest post writing.
When you do this, you will get 30 articles per month which is actually not that bad for bloggers. But what you will get is instant web traffics that will died off once you stop promoting them.
You will be in a treadmill. You need to keep promoting your posts. When you stop, the traffic spikes will end.
Surely you can get instant traffic and sometimes much more traffic, but you will not make your business passive.
Consider the second.
5 hours content writing. Zero back linking.
In this scenario, you will have 150 quality, unique articles per month! That's just yummy.
If you let it sit there for 6 months, I can guarantee you that Google will surely crawl your page and bring quality, targeted, organic traffic.
And guess what, it is passive and will still bringing in traffic even when you stop promoting the content.
You will not be in a treadmill!
While waiting for those 6 months period, you can work on other project and leave the blog as it is.
Let the content ripe and just let Google do it's job to position your blog posts well in the search rankings.
It will take some time to rank in Google. If you look at Google analytics, the amount of visitors will fluctuate over time until it becomes plateau.
During fluctuations period, it is expected that your site is being experimented by Google.
If you have good bounce rate, visitors stay for a long period of time on your articles, and you have amazing click through rate, than Google will bring your site higher in the rankings.
You need to be patient while building on your next project or blog.
Even 20-30 articles per website will do just great in the long run.
Expect to gain some visitors from Google in 6 months time. Work on your first month. An hour each day for content of about 1000 to 3000 words articles.
Those articles should answer questions that is not in good quality in the first page of Google.
Be in mind before writing the posts answering the questions that you can outrank them. If not, don't waste time by writing it.
That is why it is important to write blog posts on something that is extremely less competitive when you just starting out.
While learning on the topic, you will become an authority website as you keep writing on that particular niche.

In terms of SEO, what I will do is just let this blog sit online for years. That is why I chose blogger. Some say blogger has no authority in the eyes of Google. They said that blogger can make you hardly seen in the search engine.
I am going to prove that they are wrong!
I strongly believe that if your content can outrank anybody in the first page of Google, you can rank well.
I will show you a lot in SEO tips and tricks on exactly how to do that. Guess what, the number one ranking factor is "Relevancy".
If you create pieces of content that is helpful and people are satisfied with it once they read it, you will win the competition.
It is not just producing long articles. Article format is also key here.
I have seen a lot of posts that are just images and get ranked well. Images are hard to be analyzed even by Google whether the content is relevant or not. They used other metrics to determine that which is bouncing rate and how long visitors stay reading the blog post.
The approach is almost the same as Youtube as it will rank higher the videos that get people to watch longer.
That is why longer videos are generally outperformed shorter videos on Youtube.
As long as your search terms fits well with the blog posts in context terms, your blog will pop out above everyone else.
I am excited to see whether I can outrank top personal finance blogs using just a blogger blogs. You know what, I am competing with well established sites for years using this free blogging platform!

My key takeaway is this, if there are already millions of blog in personal finance niche, there will be some readers that loves your writings. There will be some people somewhere that like the way you explain.

You need to just create amazing content for your blog readers. Make sure the one that you post have some key values in it.
For example, you want to rank for niche site ideas. What you need to do to make your post unique is something like:
"Exact domain that is available for niche sites."
Archery? Narrow down to archery for kids. Narrow down to archery for kids with spectacles!
That kind of extremely specific niche will make you rank faster and you can see results in shorter period of time.
In addition to that, you might be the only one blogging about that. The good news is that, audience on specific keywords will forever growing.
If you look at evergreen topics, they are always expanding in terms of search volumes per month.
You will be successful if you blog something that people are searching for and have less competition on the web.
Don't take it too seriously on the search volume. The estimates are usually way way lower than the actual numbers.
Frankly speaking, usually it will always be like 20 times the search volumes available in Keyword tools. That kind of estimate have been experienced multiple times by professional and well-known bloggers.
